Parents & community
At St Andrews Primary School, we view education as a partnership. We value the contribution parents, grandparents, carers and friends of our community offer to the learning for our students. We believe in making connections for our students in our immediate and wider communities.
Parents and others are welcome to assist with reading, to offer specialist learning experiences, to help in the garden, the art room or the library to name a few.
We often need parents to help with driving for excursion and interschool sport. Our working bees and fundraisers rely on the generosity of our community.
We run our own Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) program from a dedicated room with qualified staff. Students are engaged in a range of indoor and outdoor activities. Our program is a safe, nurturing and fun place for students who need before or after care.
For more information, or to enrol in OSHC, please contact the school office at 03 9710 1255.
To contact our OSHC program directly, please call or message the OSHC number: 0427 245 921.
We have a facilitated playgroup on-site on Thursday mornings 9:00am to 11:30am.
Our service is currently run by our vibrant and wonderful teacher, Felicity, who is currently on family leave from teaching duties.
We cater for newborns up to school-aged children. Come along and connect with families with similar aged children.
Keep up to date by joining the Playgroup Facebook group!
